Ahh…spring is in the air.
Today has been a gorgeous day, low 50s, but very sunny that you don’t know the difference. Last night, I went to Old Navy and bought 4 more pairs of colorful flip flops. I have to admit, I have an addiction.
My friend is the same way. She has a blog and recently posted about wanting every Old Navy flipflop color. I have to agree with this statement. Luckily, I’m on my way to reaching that goal. A few more colors and I will be set with a rainbow of flip flop colors.
You may be wondering why a person needs so many flip flops. Spring is in the air, people! That should be reason enough to rejoice about the winter weather going away for good! Hence why I bought a few pairs, a celebration to a new “beginning” so to speak. Spring means that it’s that much closer to SUMMER.
Spring has sprung, the grass has ris, I wonder where the flowers is? This poem is oh so true. Spring has sprung. The coldness is melting away and the sun is coming out. It’s almost the end of March, and even though it’s still in the 50s, the sun has made an appearance.
This means that my sunglasses have made an appearance too. They are now on my dresser, ready to be worn. Oh how I’ve missed wearing them, complete with flip flops! I admit, I have an obsession with every accessory that has ever been invented: earrings, bracelets, necklaces, shoes, purses, sunglasses… you name it, this is the girly-girl side of me.
Spring has sprung. The flowers are blooming. The sun is warm. Go and buy your selves some flipflops at Old Navy. 2 for $5.00, I might add!
