Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
It’s the day when people consume large amounts of food and don’t think about the after effects. It’s the day when people venture outside to play football in the freezing weather and/or recline on the couch and watch pro football on TV. It’s the day where people come and gather around to spend time with each other and to ponder all the things they are thankful for. It’s the day where I spend all day thanking God for what I’m thankful for.
What are you thankful for?
I am thankful for:
My friends, my family, my Savior, what my Savior did for me, what my Savior still DOED for me, clothes, food, shelter, laughter, the ability to be happy, the every day blessings, miracles, the color purple, fall, rainy days, best friends, my five senses, and the fact that I am living another day.
These are some of the things that I sometimes take for granted every day. But I challenged you a few weeks ago to not take the little things for granted. Remember that…especially today. Count your blessings and count the things that God has given you and be thankful! Smile a little and remember that today shouldn’t be the only day you remember how thankful and blessed you are. Take the time each day to be thankful and appreciate every thing, whether big or small, in your life.
