book worm status.

Here’s a random fact for you: I’m a book worm.

MAJOR book worm. Especially during the summer. Especially this year.

Since the majority of the past school year has been spent studying and/or reading for my classes, “fun reading” has not been possible or even thought of.
AKA major deprivation going on right about now.
School is finally out and I’m ready to dig into another good book.
But I’m stumped. I have NO idea what to read next.
Nicholas Sparks is over rated. Plus, all of his stories sound exactly the same after you’ve read one or two (sorry, but it’s true).
I’ve already read some of the more popular series (Hunger Games, Twilight, Sisterhood, etc).
I left the library the other day with a 15 book stack, but they should be finished by mid-June or so. That leaves me the rest of June, July, and August.

If you have any ideas on books to read, LET ME KNOW!
Do you have a specific book you LOVED and couldn’t put down?
Comment them here and let me know. My sanity is depending on you. ;]

I sooo appreciate it!

major nerd status? yeah, probably. but whatever. πŸ™‚

  1. I love your thoughts on Nicholas Sparks πŸ˜‰

I definitely recommend “The Help” by Kathryn Stockett if you haven’t already read it. Also “The Know-It-All” by AJ Jacobs is hilarious, fun and really insightful. I read it last summer on the beach and it was a blast! “Water For Elephants” by Sara Gruen is also really good.

  2. I feel like you would really enjoy reading anything from Karen Kingsbury. She’s a great Christian author and her books are AMAZING. I would start with one of her first series “The Redemption Series”. The first book is called Redemption. Once you start reading them, you wont be able to stop!
